Come enjoy a moderated discussion and Q&A with accomplished illustrator Jason Rainville, who will discuss his background and what it is like to work with a company like Wizards of the Coast on such popular games as Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons.

3:30 - 4:30—A Conversation with Jason Deline

Jason Deline is a versatile voice talent and actor who has been featured on a number of your favourite genre properties. Come join him for a moderated conversation and audience Q&A about his experiences in this exciting industry.

5:00 - 6:00—Late Night Ticket LIVE

The boys of Late Night Ticket will be taking to the Eastlink Community Stage for a LIVE recording of their show where they discuss what they love and hate about movies. What movie will be under the microscope this time? Join them and find out!

10:30 - 11:30—Creative Obsessions w/ Author M. J. Spickett

M. J. Spickett will discuss her experiences as an indie author, how she got into writing, the effects of social media, and how her writing inspires her art and vice versa. Discover the worlds she has created that are not so unlike our own and find out how Sudbury became the backdrop for not just two, but three book series.

12:00 - 1:00—Ask a Game Master

Have you ever wanted to play Dungeons & Dragons, but didn’t know where to start? Have you played a few games but don’t know how to make the jump to Storyteller? Join our panel of experienced DMs as they field all questions about table-top RPGs and share their Dungeon Master tips and tricks.

1:30 - 2:30—True Patriots: A Conversation on Canadian Heroes In Comics (w/ sketch duel)

Come join Scott Chantler, Dan Collins and Andrew Thomas as they deconstruct the qualities and characteristics of Canadian heroes in comics. As a bonus feature, Scott and Andrew will sketch LIVE during the panel and their original drawings will be raffled off to members of the audience

3:00 - 4:00—From Comic Books to Video Games: Comic Book Creators’ Tips

You know them as the team behind Big Nick, but this time Expired Comic’s Kevin and Martin are talking about Nova Knights, their fully animated 2.5 D beat’em up video game. During this panel, they will discuss how their comic book roots have influenced Nova Knights’ development while comparing the similarities and differences between making comics and video games.

4:30 - 5:30—Game of Thrones: That’s it?

And now our watch has ended. But wait, that’s it? Come discuss the series finale of Game of Thrones with our experts, as they debate the merits and flaws of the ultimate season. Who should really sit on the Iron Throne? Whose character arcs went the most off-the-rails? Share your views and help our panel decide.
